Lando Norris is advocating for the retention of the bonus World Championship point. Recently, the FIA announced that no bonus points will be awarded to the driver with the fastest lap in the 2025 Formula 1 season. This decision follows Daniel Ricciardo’s acquisition of a point from Norris at the Singapore Grand Prix, widening Norris’s point gap to 52 instead of 51.
