Sergio Perez is feeling less than optimistic about the remainder of his home F1 race weekend. The Mexican driver has stated that his RB20 car is not performing well and he anticipates that he will still be far from the front of the grid. In the first practice session, Perez was just two-tenths of a second behind his teammate Max Verstappen, but ultimately finished six places behind and over one second slower than George Russell’s fastest time.
