Italian player Lorenzo Sonego advanced to the second round of the Croatia Open after defeating Croatian wildcard Mili Poljicak in a close match at the ITC Stella Maris in Umag on Monday evening.
Sonego, who is currently ranked No. 54, will face Frenchman Alexandre Muller in the next round.
