Group 1001, an insurance and financial services company, has announced that Daniel Towriss has assumed the role of CEO with immediate effect. Towriss also serves as the chief investor of Andretti Global. Michael Andretti, the founder of the team and a former racing driver, will now serve in an advisory and ambassadorial capacity for the organization while no longer maintaining ownership. Andretti Global made this announcement on Friday.
