Bill Simmons, the old head of ESPN’s NBA coverage and former co-host of The B.S. Report, was on WEEI in Boston to discuss his new book ‘The Book Of Basketball’ with Greg Dickerson when he took a shot at Aaron Rodgers for not being a great teammate.

In a recent article, Bill Simmons took a shot at Aaron Rodgers for not being a good team player. In the article, he called him a “diva” and said that if he wants to be one of the best players in the league, then he needs to put his ego aside.

Aaron Rodgers is once again making headlines in the NFL, but this time for the wrong reasons. Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19) and will miss the team’s Week 9 game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Bill Simmons of The Ringer has an outspoken opinion on the All-Pro quarterback’s leadership, or lack thereof.

Aaron Rodgers will not play against the Chiefs in Week 9 for the Packers.

Aaron Rodgers tested positive for coronavirus, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, and will miss Green Bay’s next game against the Chiefs.

The bill was meant to include a highly anticipated duel between Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes, but fans will have to make do with Jordan Love, the probable heir apparent.

While Rodgers’ coronavirus infection is troubling, the nine-time Pro Bowler has also sparked additional debate for his club and the NFL. According to Ian Rapoport, the Packers’ quarterback is unvaccinated.

When questioned about his immunization status before to the season, Rodgers said that he was “immunized.” The creative word choice has now been shown to be a flaw. It’s uncertain how long he’ll be gone, but the Packers are in desperate need of him.

With Rodgers out versus Kansas City, head coach Matt LaFleur and the Packers will get a chance to see what Jordan Love has to offer. After the 2021 season, if he performs well, things in Green Bay might become much more fascinating.

Bill Simmons of The Ringer describes Rodgers as a diva.

Some individuals, including Bill Simmons, were irritated by Aaron Rodgers’ activities during the summer leading up to the 2021 NFL season.

The Ringer’s CEO and creator, Simmons, joined Colin Cowherd on The Herd to discuss the newest developments in the Aaron Rodgers controversy.

The media personality also didn’t hold back when it came to the famous quarterback.

“I believe Rodgers is a diva,” Simmons stated. “He’s been a diva for the last several years.” I believe he was divaish in how he handled the whole offseason. He didn’t strike me as a team player. I didn’t understand why he selected the NFL draft week to make it into an even larger subject.”

Simmons also chastised the 17-year veteran for portraying the team as one that hasn’t done enough to win.

“He acts as if he’s a member of the Jaguars in 2021.” He’s on a strong team, however,” he said. “His squad has performed well in recent years.”

Rodgers, according to Simmons, is making everything about himself. The podcast presenter even went so far as to label Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers a “narcissist.” “Everything was the fault of someone else,” he stated. “He absolved himself of any blame. He appeared to believe he was going to be the host of Jeopardy, which is absurd.”

Rodgers’ future in Green Bay, like his own, is uncertain.

It was unknown if Aaron Rodgers will play for the Green Bay Packers in the 2021 NFL season. He’s helped the squad to a 7-1 start, but his future is now much more uncertain.

Rodgers’ strained relationship with the front office sparked speculation that the two sides might split ways. Mark Murphy and Brian Gutekunst, the team’s president and general manager, agreed not to deal the veteran quarterback. Rodgers ultimately made it to training camp with his teammates.

In his weekly segment on The Pat McAfee Show, the three-time MVP commended Gutekunst.

Rodgers said, “There has been excellent communication.” “The chats with Brian that we’ve had so far this year have been enjoyable.”

For Packers supporters, the shift in attitude might be a significant indicator. Winning, on the other hand, cures all wounds. Rodgers is unlikely to leave Green Bay after 2021 if the team makes a Super Bowl run.

Aaron Rodgers, on the other hand, has already shown to be unpredictable. He takes a left when you believe he’ll take a right. Except for him, no one knows what his true intentions are.

Meanwhile, he’ll continue to hog the headlines and irritate Bill Simmons.
