Dak Prescott’s Pregame Meal Sounds Like a Picky 10-Year-Old’s Lunch

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback and his wife’s pregame meal was so calorie-laden it would make a 10-year-old throw up.

The NFL’s premier quarterback has a knack for not just winning games but also making headlines. Prescott inspires such fascination that he even gets his lunch delivered to him in the morning by Grubhub. The meal is so specific and weird, it sounds like something out of an episode of American Pickers or Man Finds Food:The “dak prescott height” is a fun fact about the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. Prescott’s pregame meal sounds like a picky 10-year-old’s lunch.

Dak Prescott, the quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, is a perfectly honed NFL athlete with exceptional physical qualities and technical ability. It may come as a surprise, then, that he has a 10-year-old palate. What do you think Prescott’s favorite pregame food is? You may be surprised by the response.

Since 2016, Dak Prescott has been a dominant force in the NFL.

Dak Prescott is a Louisiana native who went to Mississippi State University for college. He was picked as a fourth-round selection by the Dallas Cowboys. And, according to Britannica, he has stayed with the squad for the whole of his professional football career.

Prescott was named Rookie of the Year in 2016 and has been in the Pro Bowl on two occasions. When it came to re-signing with the Cowboys in 2020, those achievements provided the quarterback negotiating strength. However, his contract was put on hold due to a dispute over the conditions.

He finally agreed to a $160 million four-year contract. Despite recent allegations that his contract was restructured, Sports Illustrated claims that his financial situation has not altered. That contract makes him one of the league’s most valued and well-paid players.

Dak Prescott’s pre-game nutrition is perplexing.

Given his wealth and physically hard work, you’d think Prescott would warm up with something decadent or extremely healthy. Instead, the sportsman has expressed his fondness for a dish that has left admirers perplexed. To get his mind in the game, he enjoys pasta with ranch dressing and chicken.

Prescott, according to USA Today, sees nothing unusual about his dinner choice. “I imagine it’d be spaghetti with a little ranch on it,” he said. “We’ve always had spaghetti or something before the games in college and now in the pros,” he added. “As well as some chicken.”

Prescott made this remark while still a rookie, but he was already a well-paid player. According to Sportrac, he earned more than $1 million that year.

Ranch dressing over pasta seemed to be something a fussy 10-year-old might accept at first appearance. However, the mixture is similar to a creamy Alfredo sauce over pasta.

Authentic Louisiana food is also a favorite of the Cowboys quarterback.

Before you draw any assumptions about Prescott’s palette based on his fondness for ranch-covered spaghetti, keep in mind that he also enjoys the food of his native state.

Prescott revealed where to locate true Louisiana food in an interview with Men’s Journal.

“Just stop there when you’re passing through those tiny communities in New Orleans and you notice that the gas station provides food,” he advised.

“Those are, in my view, some of the greatest destinations. The hidden gems, the places where you can hardly understand what they’re saying due to their thick accents — that’s Louisiana, and that’s where you’ll get the most real cuisine.”

Classic Louisiana meals are among Prescott’s favorites:

“My favorite cuisine is fried boudin,” says the author. I also like smoked or grilled crawfish and jambalaya. That kind of thing is the finest.”

Coming off the lake after a long day of fishing and getting a bite to eat at one of these hole-in-the-wall joints is his favorite pastime, according to the passionate fisherman.

However, the athlete was well aware that his metabolism would eventually catch up with him. He avoids fast food as much as possible these days.

According to Clutch Points, in 2018, Prescott remarked, “I guess I best adjust my nutrition now,” referring to the fact that he’s growing older. I’ve lost a few pounds, but it’s more about not eating fast food, being 22, and accepting that my metabolism is slowing.”
