Dallas Cowboys Fans Are Getting Some Dak Prescott News They Don’t Want to Hear

The Dallas Cowboys have been one of the most successful franchises in American sports, winning five Super Bowls. However, that success has come with a price-tag.

The dak prescott injury is a topic that has been making headlines lately. Fans of the Dallas Cowboys are getting some Dak Prescott news they don’t want to hear.

The Dallas Cowboys have a chance to win the NFC East championship. However, in a division where the other three teams are all poor at the most crucial position in football, the Cowboys’ lead is eroding. That’s because a prominent NFL expert predicts problems for Dak Prescott in the near future.

If the situation does not improve, Dallas may find itself as an afterthought in the NFL’s worst division.

Dallas Cowboys fans should be concerned about some Dak Prescott news, according to Adam Schefter.

Even though the Cowboys are more than halfway through training camp, ESPN football analyst Adam Schefter believes the Prescott fans saw before his horrific ankle injury last season has yet to resurface.

Schefter also offered a bleak outlook.

During a break in Friday’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Arizona Cardinals, Schefter stated, “He’s not completely back, he may not be back all season.”

Prescott’s ankle became a concern when he exited the Week 5 game against the New York Giants on Oct. 11, 2020. Prescott returned to training camp nine months later and immediately began exercises. However, he soon began to have pain in his throwing shoulder.

Chris Simms, a fellow commentator, suggested that the quarterback injured his shoulder by altering the way he lands when throwing, intentionally or subconsciously protecting the surgically repaired ankle.

Prescott is being held back by the ankle or the shoulder, according to Schefter. He did caution Cowboys supporters, though, that Prescott may not be 100 percent at any time during the NFL’s first 17-game regular season.

Dak Prescott and the Cowboys kick off their season on September 9th.

Prescott and the Cowboys are racing against the clock to get their star quarterback to where he needs to be. Dallas starts three days early of the rest of the league with a Thursday game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sept. 9, three days after the final preseason games with the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars.

After that, they’ll play on the road against the Los Angeles Chargers, a popular team to follow. Then they play two of their next three games against NFC East opponents, the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants. The Cowboys may be chasing their divisional opponents for the remainder of the season if they waste those home chances.

It’s impossible to envision an NFC East club winning one of the conference’s three wild-card spots after last season’s disaster, when the Washington Football Team won the division with a 7-9 record. And without Prescott performing well, it’s difficult to see the Cowboys getting to the nine victories they’ll need to compete for the division championship.

Dallas should have started the season with a quarterback edge.

As worrisome as Prescott’s situation should be to Cowboys supporters given their lack of a viable backup, the remainder of the NFC East has its own quarterback problems.

After taking over the starting position from Eli Manning the previous season and appearing promise as a rookie, third-year Giants quarterback Daniel Jones regressed in 2020. Former Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett, who is now the offensive coordinator, has just as much riding on the next season as Jones.

Jalen Hurts has received positive publicity throughout training camp, putting Philadelphia in a stronger position than New York and Washington. Hurts, on the other hand, didn’t show much in his four starts last year. Because Joe Flacco is 36 years old and hasn’t been a full-time starter since 2017, Ron Rivera would love for Hurts to emerge.

Three teams have issues at quarterback, and one has continuing worries, according to the scoreboard.
