After making a strong return at the UTS in New York, Nick Kyrgios unfortunately had to withdraw from the tournament due to a stiff wrist. Kyrgios expressed his gratitude to the fans and his excitement for a return to the tour after being sidelined with an injury.

In his match against Casper Ruud, Kyrgios showed that he hasn’t lost a step, winning three quarters to love. His powerful serve was particularly impressive.
With Kyrgios’ withdrawal, Stefanos “El Greco” Tsitsipas advances to the semi-finals. The order of play for August 23rd has been adjusted accordingly:
