During the Barranquilla Open, Slovak qualifier Martina Okalova advanced to the last 16 after Belgian Greet Minnen, the second seed, retired on Tuesday evening. Okalova was leading 7-6 (7), 0-2 when Minnen, ranked No 74, withdrew from the match. Next, Okalova will be facing Ukrainian Anastasiya Sobolieva.
