Andrey ‘Rublo’ Rublev emerged victorious in the tournament, making history as the first player to claim two UTS Tour titles.
Despite a brief appearance in Stuttgart in 2023, King Kyrgios – his UTS persona – has been absent from competition since the ATP Finals in November 2022 when he partnered with Thanasi Kokkinakis.
However, in a video posted on his personal Instagram account, Kyrgios announced his return to action at UTS New York next week.
“I am excited to share with all UTS fans and tennis enthusiasts that I will be competing on the 22nd of August at the Forest Hills Stadium in New York,” Kyrgios stated in the video.
UTS New York is set to begin next Thursday, 22nd August, and will conclude on Friday, 23 August. Tickets for the highly-anticipated event can still be purchased here.
