Nintendo Switch OLED Model Announced, Out This Fall

The Nintendo Switch has been one of Nintendo’s most consistent successes in recent years, and an accessory has been one of the most exciting features to come along with it. It was somewhat surprising to hear that an official Nintendo Switch screen protector has never been released, but it’s now been confirmed that one will be released in the fall of 2018. The accessory is apparently called the Nintendo Switch Screen Protector, and is apparently designed to “protect your screen from fingerprints, scratches, and damage”.

Nintendo has officially announced that the new Nintendo Switch model will be released later this year with an OLED touchscreen. The new screen will reportedly offer higher contrast and better visual quality thanks to an upgraded panel.

On Friday, Nintendo announced a surprise: the upcoming Nintendo Switch will have an OLED screen. The company didn’t say when the new screen will be released, or how much it’ll cost. This new model is designed to be a marketing tool, a way to push Switch sales even once it’s been out for a few months. It’s also a sign that the Switch is a device designed with major third-party support.

The announcement of the Nintendo Switch Pro has finally happened, but not only that. Nintendo announced the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) in a surprise Twitter post, mentioning a number of updated features, but no expansion of the handheld’s GPU and processor.

The OLED model of the Nintendo Switch will be released on the 8th. The system will be released in October 2021 and will cost $349.99. It features a wider stand for desktop use, a 7-inch OLED screen and improved sound. The dock now includes a wired LAN port for a more stable internet experience.

It will be released with the usual blue and red colors and a new all-white variant to coincide with the release of the Metroid Dreadle on the same day.

However, the OLED Switch’s battery life, processor and GPU are exactly the same.

According to industry analysts, including The Wall Street Journal’s Takashi Mochizuki and Serkan Toto, the Switch’s new hardware revision from 2020 will include a slightly more powerful processor and support for 4K graphics.

It is not yet known if it will be released in 2022, along with releases like Breath of the Wild 2and Pokemon Legends Arceus. It looks like Nintendo has an announcement coming up later today. It sounds like a new Nintendo Switch will be taking the place of the Nintendo Switch Pro controller. As we know, the Pro controller is the only thing that allows the Wii-U to play games beyond the Wii-U. When this announcement comes down, we’ll be able to get the facts straight. Until then, we’ll continue to speculate. Stay tuned for more.. Read more about nintendo switch new model and let us know what you think.
