SABALENKA VS PEGULA IN CINCINNATI FINAL

Despite missing Wimbledon and facing early defeat at the Paris Olympics, Pegula has been in top form after winning in Toronto. She will face Sabalenka in the final, looking to win her second consecutive 1000-point title.

“I’m moving really well, so that gives me a lot of confidence moving forward,” said Pegula during an interview. “It would be crazy to win back-to-back 1000s.”

To achieve this feat, Pegula will have to overcome Sabalenka, who leads their head-to-head series 4-2.
