Porsche Reveals Exciting Future in F1: ‘We Are Thrilled with Our Direction’

According to Porsche’s motorsport boss Thomas Laudenbach, the iconic brand has decided to forgo its Formula 1 aspirations. Laudenbach states that the brand is now focusing on other ventures instead of pursuing a presence in the sport. Previously, Porsche had been in the final evaluation phase alongside Audi, a sister brand within the Volkswagen Group, in April 2022. Despite potential discussions with Red Bull, an agreement did not materialize due to a strategic misalignment with the Milton Keynes-based team. As a result, there are currently no plans for Porsche to make a comeback in Formula 1, as Laudenbach elaborates on the reasoning behind this decision.
