Shnaider, ranked No. 28, is set to face the winner of the match between Hungarian Anna Bondar and German lucky loser Ella Seidel in the next round.
In the previous round of the Budapest tournament, Diana Shnaider narrowly defeated Hungarian wildcard Fanny Stollar (6-3, 3-6, 6-4).
