The Green Bay Packers are 9-3 and have just returned from a bye week. They’ve clinched the NFC North and are still in contention for the top seed in the whole NFC conference.
For the Packers, things are looking up, particularly if they can stay healthy in the last stretch of the season. Things are looking so good, in fact, that Stephen A. Smith, one of ESPN’s fiercest critics, believes the Packers are the most complete team not only in the NFC, but in the whole NFL.

One of the most amazing aspects of Green Bay’s record this season is not so much the victories and losses as it is the team’s journey to this point.
Long-term injuries to great players have harmed no club in the NFL more this season. The Packers have been missing standout cornerback Jaire Alexander for most of the season, and All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari hasn’t played in over a year. Due to a back ailment, great pass rusher Za’Darius Smith hasn’t played since Week 1, while renowned guard Elgton Jenkins was gone for the season only a few weeks ago with a knee injury.
To say the Packers have been battered is an understatement. Despite losing a number of key players, Green Bay has been one of the league’s most outstanding teams, winning huge games despite their absence.
Green Bay has a lot of depth, as well as a lot of playmakers on its roster.
Stephen A. said that he admires what the Packers have accomplished on the roster, particularly on offense.
He remarked, “Running the football with [A.J] Dillon and Aaron Jones does it for me.” “You’ve got Davante Adams with [Marquez Valdes-Scantling], and you’ve got Randall Cobb, who is a regular target for Aaron Rodgers. Of course, there’s [Allen Lazard] and those lads.”

According to Stephen A. Smith, the contrast between Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers is significant.
Brady is unquestionably the greatest quarterback of all time, and his Super Bowl record speaks for itself. However, he is often compared to Rodgers. Rodgers, to be more precise, is often likened to him. The fact is that they’re two very different quarterbacks with two completely different careers.

Aside from pix-sixes, Brady has thrown eleven interceptions this season, compared to four for Rodgers. Since joining the Buccaneers in 2020, Brady has thrown 22 interceptions. In that time, Rodgers has thrown only nine passes.
Brady, like Rodgers, is playing like an MVP. If the two teams meet again in the NFC playoffs, Stephen A. believes Rodgers’ accuracy will be the difference this time.
It’s difficult to disagree with that.

The ESPN analyst applauded Rodgers’ accuracy, but he also considers Green Bay’s overall picture.
Of course, Rodgers is a potential Hall of Famer, but he has a plethora of offensive weapons at his disposal, as well as a top-five defense that allows just 20.2 points per game. It’s Rodgers’ finest defense since the Packers’ last Super Bowl victory.
“Look at him flinging the football with such precision.” He’s demonstrating leadership.
