Facundo Diaz Acosta from Argentina progressed to the second round of the US Open after defeating Hugo Gaston from France with a scoreline of 6-1, 6-4, 6-2 at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York on Tuesday night.
Acosta, who is ranked 64th, is set to face Jack Draper, the 25th seed, in the next round.
