American Frances Tiafoe has secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Masters after a hard-fought victory over Jiri Lehecka. Tiafoe, currently ranked No 26, will now take on the No 5 seed, Hubert Hurkacz, in the next round. In previous matches, Tiafoe defeated Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Lorenzo Musetti. Lehecka, ranked No 35, also had impressive wins against Mariano Navone and Daniil Medvedev in the earlier rounds of the tournament. Other results from the last 16 at the Cincinnati Masters include Jack Draper beating Felix Auger-Aliassime, Holger Rune defeating Gael Monfils, and Hubert Hurkacz overcoming Flavio Cobolli. Additionally, Ben Shelton emerged victorious against Fabian Marozsan, Andrey Rublev beat Brandon Nakashima, and Alexander Zverev secured a win over Pablo Carreno Busta.
