Tiger Woods is back in the mix at the Open Championship. This has led to a prop bet that Tiger will win his first Major in 2022, which would be an incredible feat for golfers and fans alike. The current odds on this are just 4-1 so it’s time to jump on as soon as possible before these odds skyrocket!
The 2022 Open Championship is one of the most anticipated golf events in the world. The Tiger Woods Prop Bet you need to jump on for this event is to predict whether or not Tiger will win his first major championship since 2013. Read more in detail here: open championship.
Since making his victorious comeback to professional golf in April, Tiger Woods has been impossible to predict in both the outright and derivative markets. Even though he had no chance in the world of winning either the Masters or the PGA Championship, he was offered chances of between 50/1 and 80/1 for both competitions. His outright odds for the 2022 Open Championship at St. Andrews are also in the same range.
Sportsbooks are aware that these odds do not correctly represent Woods’ prospects of winning at this point in his career, but they also understand that golf fans will bet on him regardless of the odds they provide.
However, we are wiser than that.
This year, we have profited betting on Tiger in both of his big championship appearances, and we want to continue that trend this weekend.

Sportsbooks are more intelligent than you. They are much more intelligent than I am, and they are also far more intelligent than the vast majority of sports bettors out there. They cut Tiger Woods’ pricing in the outright and derivative markets to reduce their potential losses since they know that casual golf fans would pile up on bets on him regardless of the prices.
Given the enormous publicity he generates, Woods should be offered at odds of over 200/1 to win the Open Championship this weekend, but bookies are only putting him at 50/1. As with his plus-money odds to place in the top-20 or top-10, bettors will still pounce on that price.
But for now, that’s not how you bet on Woods.
This year, sportsbooks have been cautious while making these plus-money bets, but when it comes to one particular prop bet, they remain inattentive.
Woods’ odds to to make the cut in the 2022 Open Championship are at only -134. (BetRivers). Therefore, there is a 57.3 percent inferred likelihood. Let’s examine the reasons why it is utterly overpriced.
To start, over his illustrious career, Woods has participated in 89 major championships. In 77 of them, he made the cut, giving him a cut percentage of 86.5 percent in his big starts. Moreover, he ADORES St. Andrews. Woods has one victory and one T10 on his resume in three Open Championship appearances at the Old Course.
St. Andrews also offers Woods the simplest test as he makes his comeback from a fractured leg. The Old Course is a level, leisurely stroll that should be easier for the 46-year-leg old’s compared to Augusta National and Southern Hills, two of the hilliest courses he could have played. This should be the healthiest Woods we’ve seen since his comeback since he’s had two full months to recover from his last start.
Tiger struggled to the finish line under more challenging circumstances than he’ll see this week, but still managed to make the cut at The Masters and the PGA Championship. But his asking price to get the job has not altered.
Woods will be present at St. Andrews over the weekend, and you may profit significantly when he does.
