Currently ranked No. 89, Andreeva will face the winner of the match between New Zealander Lulu Sun and Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle next.
In the previous round of the Monterrey tournament, the 20-year-old Russian emerged victorious against Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina (6-1, 6-4).
